Proverbs 11:13 A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.
I think as Christians we shouldn't get tied up in gossip, but again we all fall short of the glory of God. I think it is another human nature thing. |

What does it mean to me?
Zip. I know women who gossip, but when someone tries to gossip with me (or other guys in the office), I think our attention spans just aren't that advanced  . I get bored very easily if the conversation doesn't stimulate me. And gossip is always too flowery like icing on wedding cakes to interest me.It's never on topics that seem to interest me, for one thing. Then, it almost always seems to be about someone who has already dropped to their knees in despair. When someone is weak, I think, that's not the time to kick them. I like talking about science and God's glory and electronics and the paranormal and Microsoft Access databases...nobody likes gossipping about those things

No...maybe is just normal to HIM Bring up some threads ...They should be interesting

Gossip.....I hate it and think it is unGodly and will not include myself in any of it or tolerate it.
This is not the same as discussing a person for the sake of concern or fear. Gossip, in general, is having a good time talking about somebody behind their back, which includes alot of hearsay! Gossip leads to lying in more way then one. |

Hi peope. I'm new here, but thought I'd jump in and get my feet wet.
As for Gossip, you'll find those mentioned, among many more Scriptures speak against Gossip as being back biting, maligning, detracting or degrading, depending upon translation version, plus more. WhirlWind, so you like that list, ok, well I like several of the same, supernatural, researching God and His Word, science, evolution to progression, "Last Day" Prophecies and what we see going on, electronics and learning more about computers. Only had this one 5 years and only used it for first few for work, so very little personal use. God Bless!! |
