One time I slipped on a paper sack on my clean-slick kitchen floor. I fell down. BOOM!

So I picked myself back up and started out walking again. One slow step at a time.

I believe we all slip much more then we're ever willing to admit to our brethren. Mistakes are part of the sanctification process. Mistakes are how you learn. Who ever grew in Christ without slipping up? David, a man after God's own heart, more then slipped, he plunged headlong into gross sin---and he was forgiven. Peter slipped about his fair share, and he was forgiven. 1 John 1:9 says we need only to confess our sins, and repent of course.
We're stuck with sin as long as we're living in this physical realm. Not that we should habitually sin, but we're going to sin periodically, and God knows that. Repent, confess, and move on brother.

God Bless you

He he he...thanks Dusty!

What I mean is that when I slip, I can pick myself up again and start out with my journey new. I can learn from that slip. Do my best to prevent it in the future.

Or...I can keep on slipping and say what's the use? Deeper and deeper, falling and falling. Heck, I've slipped once, so what's another slip going to hurt?

It takes strength to pick yourself up again when you slip. Sometimes I don't have that strength, it's depleted. At times like this is when the Lord pulls me up and breathes new strength into me.

One slip isn't a ticket to a lifetime of slips. A slip is a reminder of how much I need God in my life.

Bless you guys.

When you slip look up for He is there to pick up back up. Sometimes slipping is part of the breaking process as we need to loose confidence in our flesh before He can really get us to the place of a submitted heart.
