Default Favorite Cars

Done this thread before on another site and it was popular. So what was/is your all time favorite car? Got a pix? I got mine off the net. Mine was very similar. Pearl white 1960 Buick LeSabre Convertible - stick shift black top. How I wish I still had it!

I really liked my dad's car.
I can't for the life of me remember what it was.
Only a few were made and he had his in the early 70's, though it was older, I believe.
Any ideas, anyone?

My first car was a 1968 Z-28 Camaro with a L88 427 under the hood. What a sweet car and a fun ride! I will have to see if I cna dig up some pics!

I was going to say (tongue in cheek) that it was the infamous 1952 Buick with the 'dynaslush' transmission...

But I guess I'll stick with the Ford Crown Victoria LX or the Mercury Grand Marquis LX. 28 MPG on the highway and all the comforts of a Town Car.

Great choice - old reliable technology - reliable rear drive - they run forever. My business went under a year ago - that is what I had for a company car. Comfortable on a trip and just as easy on gas as my wife's Taurus.

Hard to beat.

Good grief - I'm surprised you are still alive. I was looking for a Corvette back in 70 and the factory was on strike. I test drove a used 427 L88 - It absolutely flew. I thought to myself "If I buy this car - I will kill myself." I found about thirty new Corvettes at Reedman in Philadelphia. Ended up with a new 1971 LT1 souped up 350. My only new car ever. A really fun car, but a piece of junk from a quality aspect.
