Because they do not have the love of God in them or the Holy ghost dwelling within them.
To rejoice in others' failures or troubles is of satan's behavior and influence~

The failure of some is an uplifting for others. I did not just say that did I? Some people are so insecure with themselves that when one fails they are quick to point out why, and why this would never happen to them. By keeping one down makes some feel up and alive. What a Sick Way to Exist!

Because people like that are often insecure and lazy, and instead of working to better themselves, they'd rather just take the easy route and stomp on those who fall around them. Its the unfortunate way they decide to uplift themselves.

This is so very true and I see it more and more.
These people are to be pitied because they have no self esteem or internal security~

Uplift them in prayer in Jesus' powerful name!

And we have a winer! I am not being sarcastic, this is just my funny way of saying this is a perfect answer! It's easier for me to overlook my own sin and failure if I am focusing on and magnifying yours. Also, there is ALWAYS justification for my sins and ways of doing things but NEVER for yours (I'm speaking of course in general, not about me and you Daniels!)! Yuck! What a sick way indeed!
