Don't take offense, see the people who hurt you thru Jesus eyes and your heart will quickly change

Do you really feel that Pat Robertson or James Dobson are speaking for everyone in the body of Christ? The lost people will belive what they want to believe and I guess it is up to us to demonstrate God's love.

But it's true, there is a lot of hurt people in the Church. However, it is not the hurt that I see that makes it hard, those are the reason I am still searching for a real church, and not just an assembly of believers. It's the people that don't know they aren't perfect, that have lived this fake life so long, and have spread it to others like an infection. How do you reach those that see the truth, the love of God, as something that is "below them" because they are so Holy? How can a Christian, struggling with hurt and pain, like myself, endure in a place that is dragging me down faster than lifting me up?

Ok! It's TIME for us to pray

that you are lead to the CHurch that the Lord wants you in like I have found...

Simply ask, believe, and watch out...

I didn't go to Church for many years until the Lord prodded me to!

Dear Father,the most Holy Father we ask that you present to your beloved son, a Holy Spirit filled Church family...that will help him grow and be healed in the name of our King and Savior Christ...

No I don't. But I think that the world perceives them to be the voice of American Christians.

A question comes to mind when I read all that has been said ..... Who is the church ? We are the church. And yes Jesus teaches us to love one another but there will never be a perfect church and where ever God has planted us it is up to us to reach out to the hurting, the depressed the one who has lost a loved one, like Bro Larry says. Care for the members of the body of Christ. Because when one member is hurting the whole body should hurt.

So many people just come in sit in their pew and go home. How do we reach these people by being a friend to them , giving them a hug, asking their name, giving them a smile. It seems that in the church there is a disconnection with people and that is not the way Christ wants us to act.

There is also little cliques of people who hang out together and is that a good thing ? No I don't think so. Include others so the lonely don't feel left out.

We the body of believers should be setting the example of God's love because if we are not doing our job who will do it.? Love one another ,again I say "LOVE."

I know sometimes written words can come across the wrong way~
IF I have hurt or offended anybody, I would honestly want to know so that I can make it right~

I know none of us agree 100% on everything but I do love all my brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as the lost who NEED Christ!
