Cool You guys brighten my day. Awesome.

Brother Larry the guy told me he fixed it and to a certain point he did but it still cuts out from time to time.and kicks me off the internet. Could it be that I need to get a new modem ? As I have dial up service.

I could be your dial up service as some have a reputation for disconecting.
What operating system do you use? Has this problem recently started? Does your dail up give you the option of using more than one acess numbers to go online? Do you run spyware removal tools on a regular basis? When is the last time you defragmented your hard drive?
