October 24, 2007 On the highest mountain peak In the ocean cold and deep There’s a friend whom all should seek Jesus really cares All my worries, all my fears Fly away and disappear Blessed comfort’s always near Jesus really cares Tiny babe from Bethlehem Lion of Judah, silent lamb Son of God and Son of man Jesus really cares He can make the captive free He can calm the troubled sea Gives His grace to even me Jesus really cares Visit widows in distress Love the children fatherless This is what our God expects Jesus really cares Feed the hungry, warm the cold So they’ll know God’s in control His love glows within my soul Jesus really cares When my body bends and breaks When a cancer causes aches Sweet communion He will make Jesus really cares All my heart, soul, strength and mind For His glory He’ll refine Through my pain, His hope will shine Jesus really cares When I’ve traveled my last mile I can face the grave and smile I’ll see Him in just awhile Jesus really cares!
