![]() A smile costs nothing, but gives much. It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it. A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business, and is the countersign of friendship. It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and it is natures best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give. |

Thank you, this is so true. I had this same experience a couple weeks ago, a stranger made a joke and smiled. Their smile made me smile and I thought, "what a nice little gift they gave me today" and that smile stayed with me. Your smile made me smile today.

Thank you, Bro. Don.
It reminds me of a pretty 40ish year old lady when I was about 27 who gave me the most beautiful smile, in a grocery store. I do that to people but I rarely see someone do it to me~ It floored me to tell you the truth. That's sad that it's that rare. Funny, but I have never forgotten her kind smile. |

Good morning family
![]() I love your post Violet, and the others responses... I have a prayer request concerning myself... I sure hope this does not sound vain to anyone... I am asking the Lord to give me a normal smile... Since this is so important in our world... I have all my teeth, and they are all in great condition however I have a severe overbite and they are very un even especially the lower ones... They are also so small that it appears I have no teeth when I smile... It's a very goofy smile... Though we are saving the $5,000 that will repair much of this, I've asked the Lord if He would please give me a normal smile within the year and we could use the money for something else... I pray for my teeth to be straighten and lengthened, and no longer have a goofy smile in Jesus name amen...
