When i need a break today I study the prophecies...

This is my opinion on most prophets...............In the 1990's there were alot of TV shows dealing with the year 2000 and there were many interviews with so called Christian and non-Christian prophets... I copied them all ...

None came to pass... I haven;t read 1 anything that anyone in modern history prophecied that has come to past...

SO help out there in cyberspace... If you have let the rest of us know, please...

Again I post for those that are emerced in the subject of prophecies,,, My Abba told me years ago, "You come follow ME"

You know, in the old testament times if a person claimed to be a Prophet from God, and the things he prophecied did not come to pass, they would immediatley take the person out and stone them to death.
It's important to note that a true prophet will be 100% accurate, 100% of the time. Any person who has even a slight miss, or slight inaccuracy should be immediately disrespected and shunned as a Prophet, and all of their prophecies should be disregarded.

Also, it's not that I find shocking, some of the things they claim. I believe there is going to be some terribly awe-inspiring and shocking events to happen in america.
I just don't see their claims as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

There very well could be some prophets today who are speaking the Word of God, but the Bible makes it clear that we should test the spirits, and test the prophets.
Don't accept their claims blindly, but look at their track record. If it isn't flawless, then ignore them.

I agree with much that you have to say... However case in point...
Abba has givin me spiritual gifts like he does everyone in His fold...

I can hear and see things or know of things that are not exposed,or revealed to others in my church... The Lord has even told me of future events in the US that did and still are coming to pass...
In Church there was a guest speaker, who had Words of knownlege of propheicide < that just doesn't look right SP )

Anyway, he told me I have this gift... He didn't know who I was or even my name...He confirmed what I already knew...

Here is my problem which I am asking the Lord by throwing down fleeces, "is this YOU Lord or my ego, my own desires"...

I call myself an apprentice, I am still learning and therefore can make mistakes... By the way there are times HE answers very quickly, that it is Him... Other times I feel led to step out in Faith, and later discover it was truth...

WHen I believe the Lord is revealing something to me, I asked as many questions as possible to see how accurate the vision or Word...

I don't feel I am a false prophet because I am not sure... If I am not sure I let that be known... I tell people I'm new at this...

Remember Samuel... He didn't know the voice of the Lord at first, But he did hear...

I've met people who said they were prophets, but I felt they were very general and could apply to anyone... Nothing specific...

THis man (in my previous post) James Jordan, I believe is a real prophet if that means knowing about things that no-one has told him except the Holy Spirit...

Could be the gift of Knownledge... James by the way has the most "Holiest contenence" I've ever seen in my life...

When he speaks, I see Jesus... When he looks at me I saw Jesus eyes...

He has the most humble spirit and uncompromising unconditional loving eyes I ever seen...

He is from New Zealand... ANd when I heard about the size fish caught there ( for my husband interest) I told my husband maybe we should move there after retirement...

This mans eyes, speech, hugs, and compassion demonstrated Christ love for me in a physical way...

The Holy Spirit through him changed my life forever... I am not the same...

I met a brother once who told me he was no prophet but sometimes moved in the gift of prophecy- wow-what a man of God. The first night we drove to this revival with some friends he read their mail so to speak. Never met them before as we all traveled togeather 75 miles (none of us had been there before) to this meeting.He proceeded to tell them everything that had or was happening in their lives and then gave them a word of what to expect. Acurate in every detail ( and I had known them for years)- many received words and we were all blown away- those revival meeting went on for 6 months and you couldn't walk in the door without being saturated in God's presence- very powerful.
