Take King Solomon for example. The second wisest man to ever live. (Jesus was the first) If anyone had a clear perception of what God expected, it was Solomon. We see that the king fell off and backslid and lived for worldly desires. I do not believe God condemned Solomon to hell, God will always accept a repentant heart. His mercy and love endures forever.
However, in heaven Solomon will have much less riches as compared to David who was a faithful servant to the LORD. Although I have stated this case for Solomon, i do not believe in the doctrine, "Once saved always saved". As Christ said, "If a tree does not bear good fruit, it will be cut down and thrown into the flames" |

SO He knows your heart as well, He understand humankind... To sin willfully, is spitting in God's face and then expecting His Blessings... However, He knows human weakness like in the sins of David and knew David, and forgave him... But the Laws of God are still in place in that we will reap what we sow even if God forgives us as David who lost his son by Bathsheba...It's BEST not to TEST God... He knows the END from the Beginning ... We Don't... Hope this helps

Forgive me, but I did not read through the whole thread - however, I cannot help but wonder why we worry about 'sinning'?
Let's be honest, we are sinners saved by grace. We will sin. We need to focus of following the example of Christ and His teachings. Matthew 5-7. Let's focus not on what we can "get away with", but focus on what we are to do. |

I agree
I do not believe in OSAS either; I do agree God will always forgive a sincerely repentant heart. The topic here though is more on future and deliberate sin and I can't understand how anyone can deliberately sin and keep asking for forgivemess with sincerity. To me it is abusive to and belittling Christ's life as a sacrifice~ Like taking advantage of the greatest, most Holy gift we will ever receive on this earth! |

Hosea 4:
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. 7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. I believe God can and will reject people. |

I would argue that we are already condemned - it is the Grace of God through Jesus Christ that saves us. Christ came to fulfill the Law so that those who have been accepted by God are no longer condemned by the Law. |
