Something I have recently learned...
I have financial difficultly at the moment, Owe my dad alot of money from not working, bringing money in so not being able to pay off my bank loan, phone bill ect. Hes ok with this at the moment, but I have been working a few days with a friend from Church doing some labouring, but Thats been going on fuel costs and another phone bill. I have been selling some of my things to get money to pay for Petrol, Phone bill ect because without that I am completely broke. But I have realised, That when I brought items, It was to satisfy my flesh. I have sold both my PSP and iPod, both of which I do not miss, because I have God, And He's all I ever Need!

This is an amazing transformation, Brother!
![]() I wandered from the Lord and experienced my own financial hardships. For a while there, I was afraid that I was going to lose my house, my car, my job, everything. One day I fell to my knees and I cried hot tears and I told Jesus that I couldn't do this anymore. I was tired of trying to direct my own life, and I knew that it was time for him to take the wheel of my existence. I turned everything over to Him. All of my problems, my cares, my troubles, my joys, my pain. Today, I have money in my wallet and I'm not in need of anything. I used to be an electronic-toy junky; I loved little gadgets that did amazing tricks (remote controlled spiders, digital voice recorders, mp3 players, etc.). But the hunger for those things has been lifted from me! Amen! It's like bindings that have been cut by Christ Himself! I never knew it, but I was addicted to shopping. I used to go to Walmart when I didn't need anything and walk out 200-dollars deeper in the hole. Money was so important to me back then. I needed it. Today, my need for Christ Jesus and His love for me far, far outweighs my "need" for money or material things. Granted, I don't live like a mountainman in the woods. I'm comfortable, and my family knows that if they need food or other necessities I'm blessed enough to help them out once in a while. Sharing what I have has now become the joy for me. I do tithe! But I make sure that nobody knows when or where, and I never stand up in church and take credit for it. I hide my gifts and I admit only to God when/where/and how much I gave. It tickles my heart...it's like reverse hide-and-seek when I was younger. That screaming-anticipation that I felt the bare moments before someone found the spot where I was hiding. ![]() It feels great to be released from money and to be hugged by Jesus Christ. You're in for some wonderful, awesome times ahead, my friend! ![]() |

B2LY.... That is amazing testimony and God will honour your faithfullness and He will give you a job. I know that you are trusting Him for that and I too will be praying that the doors of oportunity will be opened to you. You know some of us seniors could tell you about all the materializm that does not mean two cents because in the end you cannot take it with you. Do you ever see a hearse with a trailor hitched to the back of the limosine ? Also if you have ever been to the mission field all of these things do become unimportant. If you have seem the bare necessities that the missionaries have and the humbleness and servant's hearts they have, your priorities begin to shift and change. A woman on one of our trips said she is not going to be concerned about if her purse and shoes matches her outfit any more when she saw kids running around without shoes and clothes.

Jesus on the thrown of you Heart and know God is your provider. That is what God is taking me through right now depend on God. Find your joy in Him because I have found happiness depends on something happening. we will go through valleys but we don't have to let it affect our walk.
Matthew 14:28-30 (King James Version) 28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. It was when Peter took his eyes off Jesus that he sank. some times God calms the storm around us but other times He calms the storm in us. |

Well, I got a week off college this week as its Review week.
My freind from Church has nothing on, so I thought I'd have a lie in... At 10:30am this morning I get a text from my old boss asking if I want to go back to work with him! The Job is in a bakery and is going to cost around £100,000 for the whole Job, and He is finally going to be giving me the money he owes me! Woo, Praise God! ![]()
