Hi I am new and I need help. I keep shopping for things I don't really need and I can't seem to help myself. Like when I get paid pocket money or my EMA spares goes into my bank I always seem to spend it straight away on things I don't really need. Like hand bags and shoes or clothes. Also books and games. I have loads of these things. Games I need to complete, books I need to finish reading so why do I buy more?I can't seem to help myself. Am I going through a normal teenage phase or is there something wrong here. I love shopping but everytime I go into a shop just to brouse I can't help but spend. Is this normal. Thanks, From Caffeine |

I think you are replacing a longing within you that needs fulfilled and you do this through shopping. Examine your heart and try to understand what it is lacking. Subconsciously you are filling that need by buying things you don't necessarily need or want. It's filling a void which won't really ever replace what your true need is. God bless you. |
