In the potter's House I stood alone with the clay population all around. Strangely, some among the earthen lot could articulate, while others couldn't.
An impatient hunk of clay cried,'Who is the potter and who is the clay?" Then another, "Surely not in vain was I taken and my substance changed..." "If He wrought me into shape, why would someone stomp me to common earth again?" Then from a vessel of seemingly ungainly make, after Silence did speak," They sneer at me for leaning awry, What?! Did the Hand of the Potter shake?" Hey, says another,"Gently brother, gently..." Said some: "Tis old and told in tapestries flung, they talk of strict testing.....The Bowl of joy says,"Pish! He is a Good fellow, and all will be well." Then another with a long drawn sigh,"My clay with long oblivian is gone dry. But, fill me with that familar cup of juice, and I think I will recover again." And while all the vessels were speaking, a glimpse and a small sound of creaking...."Here He comes, the Potter" How has He molded you lately? I have a greater sense of peace and comfort as He has let me "see" His glory in the lives of those around me. Friends once withered in dryness and lack of passion, suddenly fired up and heading for South Africa, families torn now re united, an atheist brother no saved......I am a blessed woman! He is faithful in His promises. |

Yes Trinity . He is the potter and I am the clay.
Isaiah 45:99( NIV) 9 "Woe to him who quarrels with his Maker, to him who is but a potsherd among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, 'What are you making?' Does your work say, 'He has no hands'?
