There are many Christophanies in the Old Testament and a few in the New Testament.
What I was wondering is what did Jesus look like when he appeared in the Old Testament before his birth? Did he look like Jesus of the flesh? Did he look like Jesus of the transfiguration? Does this have anything to do with the line - "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." Genesis 1:26 |

Personally, I don't think He looked different in His figure but His appearance changed... meaning He is glowing as opposed to have a beard and then not having a beard...

We also don't know exactly what the transfiguration was.

You may be able to get a little glimpse of how Jesus appeared by checking out Genesis 18 starting in verse 1 when He appears to Abraham. He appeared in human form, so this must be the Son (Jesus) because the Father (YHVH) is Spirit. I believe this is only one example, if we were to do a more in-depth study of the Torah we may see Him again as the Son, (Lord).
