So, I don't believe the Bible has any passages to back it up, so this is an Opinion based subject.

If Adam and Eve had not fallen into sin, would we be running around in the woods? Or would we develope Technology?

Our ancestors may not have had technology to start with but they were not stupid. As children of our heavenly Father we inherited creativity- He is the ultimate creator and has passed that down to His kids.

Personally, we would have technology, not out of need but out of creativity and because we wanted it.

God wanted a family to walk with, talk with and work with. God wants to be with us and us with Him.

I believe that we simply weren't ready for the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil. One day, if we obeyed God and did His will that we would freely eat of the tree and know what to do when the serpent came. We weren't ready.

What we needed was the Tree of Life (Jesus) - the tree of the knowledge of good and evil caused man to think, act, make decisions apart from God's guidance- it was never needed to be creative or innovative.
