The blue part Larry is important and true....When you at the place where God wants you to be at, you work twice as hard even though it maybe hard, but you work with smile and peace in the heart, becuase you do it for the Lord not people........There is nothing beutiful, peaceful and joyful than doing the will of the Father

Look at Jacob life..He worked 21 years at Laban house, it was not easy, Laban was using him, for his gain..but Jacon endured why? because he knew God was with him[Genesis 28:15], and he worked to please the lord i believe....God awarded him with a beutiful family and great wealth..and he had an personal encounter with God and his life was never the same again, he became Israel........

Indeed profound, brother Larry. I find myself struggling with this also. Many times it's as if I am deaf to the Lord as I can't seem to understand what he wants from me. I mean, I know what he wants from me in general, but in certain situations it seems as if He is speaking Greek to me, and I don't understand Greek.....

In some ways our relationship with God is developed like any other. If we want to know someone we spend time with them. We share common interestsand genuinely enjoy each others company. Man was created for fellowship with God, it behoves us to invest time in this realtionship. It is much easier to understand the heart of someone you have developed a deep and close personal relationship with- our walk with the Lord is no different in this aspect.

Yah , Charlie that is true in my life as well but don't you think it is because sometimes we think our way is better ,but in the end God's way is always best but that we are stubborn sometimes . I tend to be a very stubborn person and have to submit that all the time to God. We have to daily die to self and our ambitions in order for God to take over and let Him lead.
