That is why we have to have the discernment of the Holy Spirit. I don't think it is for every one to do and we have to very careful in that area.

Having some expierience in this area one should only act after prayer - you must get a genuine witness in your spirit from God before prceeding. I have seen the results and yes some people are extatic about the wonderful feeling of being clean and free- but if that person is not ready to let go and be free from the things that opened the doorway in the frist place his second state will wind up far worse than his first.

To be honest casting out demons have no sense if this possesssed person don't accept Jesus as their Saviour. You can cast out demon from these people in the name of Jesus but if they don't accept Jesus , the demons are coming back with more demons, Jesus told as about this : "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth [it] empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation."
Dry place means the person who was not forgiven of sins. If the person doesn't believe that Jesus Baptism took all the sins of the world :" Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" - Romans 6,3. then he/she has a sin in the heart and the demon can enter into the heart any time.
If people believe in Jesus blood on the Cross they still can be possessed. Like you guys have seen it before on tv. All those people believe in Jesus , but they are still possessed.
