I'm new around here and don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I must say this:

Jesus is the "Lion of the Tribe of Judah".
How can we defend Him better than He can defend Himself?

Kathy Griffin is doing what sinners do. God loves her.
Should we not love her also?

Does the absence of sin result in salvation? No.
Does public apology equal private repentance? No.
Don't you think Jesus heard what she said? Yes.

Would it not be better for us to pray for her rather than force her to bend to our collective will?

I can't believe she didn't burst into flames when she spoke, but I've heard worse from others who were angry at God for whatever reason. How truly sad that they don't know the love of the Living God!
We are called to love, no matter what.

Hey, Violet...you're so strong in your faith. You see? This is what being a Christian means to me - constant learning. I'm never going to reach that point where I can declare that I've reached the limits of what the world, the universe, what God has to teach me...and that's a wonderful thing It's a blessing when I encounter a light such as yours, shining in the name of God.

Here's how I'm going to sign my petition...I'm going to go home and enter a closet and drop down onto my knees and pray for this Kathy-woman. I'll pray for her out of love, and when I'm done I'm never going to think about it again. I've made it this far in my life without knowing who she is. It took this petition to bring her story to me. Without this petition, I never would have known who she was or what she said.

The petition doesnt look to me as it's making her apologize, or forcing anything else on her, but it's more of a standpoint. "You do not tolerate Others insulting or making a joke about other religeons, this should apply to Christianity as well." Is what I got from it.

I signed and will be Praying for Miss/Mrs. Griffin. (I pay no attention to celebrities so I have no idea which is true for her.)
