A Time for Everything
Ecclesiastes 3To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. We must be thankful in all things..............good and bad. Corrie and Betsy Ten Boom were two females taken into a Jewish Holocaust Camp. They witnessed horrible abuse, torture, starvation, degradation, deprivation, demoralization and death. They thought they were in hell. Corrie and Betsy prayed regularly...........Betsy in one of her prayers said, and thank you Father for the fleas. Betsy said......how can you thank God for these fleas? They torment us, we itch and bleed? Betsy said, we are to be thankful in all things......... Sometime later it was discovered the females in the other barracks were regularly being violently abused physically and sexually.... by the guards. It was discovered that women in the particular barracks Corrie and Betsy were in... was flea infested............so the guards would not enter and the females were left unharmed. Lets all remember to thank Jesus for everything...........good and bad. A negative ................can be a blessing in disguise. God is always at work. God Bless Love123 |

This reminds of Joseph when he was betrayed by his brothers and sold of to the Midianite merchants.
Little did he know that God was already working Joseph's way into the palace.Joseph's testimony to His brothers after he was in charge of Egypt Genesis 45 5 And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. 6 For two years now there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will not be plowing and reaping. 7 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. 8 "So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt. ![]() I've had similar experiences when I thought why is God allowing such a thing to happen to me, only to see it turn into a blessing at a later time. Some of the members at this site might be suffering this way. But doesn't that remind you to stay even closer to God? Isn't it a blessing in disguise? Like how Love123 said it, lets be thankful for everything, God is giving us. Remember: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)
