Greetings once again, from yours truly
I would like to share this dream I had once, about a couple of months ago or maybe a year. Normally I do not take dreams to seriously or rather I tend to forget about them so easily but this dream had meaning and it became engraved in my mind. Just yesterday I thought about it and now being apart of this Christian Forum I decided to share it with you all to see what ya’ll think about it – The dream started so suddenly, where as I was sitting in front of my building, I was sitting on a bench with my mother and noticed I had a letter in my hand. Somehow, I also noticed I knew something bad was about to happen, I knew trouble would be walking down through the lobby doors and it did. I had called the police in my dream, as me and my mother walked back into the front lobby from the benches out front we had encountered what seemed to be black shadows that came out from the letter I was holding earlier. So then, these three shadows stood in front of the elevators and my mother ran towards the stair case as I followed but we had gotten ambushed from these shadows, suddenly three officers appeared to assist. One being a female and the two others were male. We struggled and I jumped in to grab my mothers hand, we escaped but then I turned around and noticed another officer was being attacked so then I jumped in after to assist. We all ran out towards the front, the officers being injured somehow but disappeared suddenly along with the shadows that meant to do harm. We ran… towards the other side of the street, away from the complex This is where everything changed; this is where I experienced something so vivid and so calm. We had crossed the street and I noticed that this old man on a bicycle was riding around back and fourth, his bicycle had these poles attached with lights. He had this large megaphone and spoke into it “Once you cross this way there’s no need to fear. “ So I crossed, this other side was different. It seemed this other place was a different world, an endless forest in the middle of the night. A path stretched from the entrance towards the end which never seemed to end. I was calm, I had entered a other world I had smiled in my dream and felt a strong loving emotion. Leaves dropping from there trees, the colors were a dark blue mixed with purple, it was beautiful. The silence seemed undisturbed and as I looked towards my side I noticed a lake and from that lake, the center, had a large stem with large leaves with this dark blue color and an orb which illuminated its surroundings. Underneath was a lake, the lake had no ripples and it was calm with a gentle breeze blowing swiftly about. As me and my mother walked towards the path I also noticed these trees, orbs of light illuminating the path before us… This is when I woke up.

Very interesting.
I am no dream expert but if I had had that dream I would have read alot into it. The letter can mean deliverance. Then there were what appeared to be demons. The police could have been angels. On the other side would be where God is. The man on the bike~a messenger of good news. The lake~He is the Living water. His spirit shone as light. Purple is royalty which is our LORD! PS~ Brother Larry is right about changing your username~ You ARE loved. God does love you and that is the worthiest love of all! I love you; you are a child of God! |

I dunno i mean i understand the meaning of Loveless Existence but i look at it as something poetic like?
Haha I've had this name for quite awhile and grew fond of the name. Even the meaning indicates loneliness and what not. Violet, thanks for the information on my dream. Another individual said quite similar things about it, so as to what the dream meant i dont really understand.

Give me a moment while I change into my Psychologist hat.
Ah that is better. Now about dreams. There is a lot of debate in the psychological world about dreams. We know everyone dreams every night in fact about 5 dreams per night. We just do not remember them. We also know that not dreaming can have very serious effects on a person. We have a physical need to dream. But what do they mean? Well most of them do not mean anything. Some indicate what we are thinking about even on a sub conscious level. There is NO scientific method of accuratly analysing dreams. Their meaning can vary depending on the person dreaming. Now to change hats again. As a Christian I know that God has previously used dreams to bring a message. What is the message, if any, behind your dream? I do not know. My gut feeling (and I am often wrong) is that it was your minds way of dealing with loads of stuff you were going through around that time. Deep inside you knew that you needed to change. Move to the side where God is in control. That would be my guess. No more than a guess. God loves you my friend. Whatever the dream ment I believe He wants you to experience His love, His peace and His joy.

Interesting Housesitter
I understand and am fully aware of whats going on. I haven't attended a Church service in years, i go and visit the church i grew up in once in awhile but i often feel as if that place isnt for me. Maybe i should move on to a more suitable enviroment, i wouldn't want to deal with that Church due to bad experinces.

I believe you would really benefit from fellowship in a good, alive, welcoming, Spirit filled church. If you are not happy in the one you used to attend look around. Ask questions. Find a place where you can fit in and grow spiritually. God bless and guide you in your search.
