I'm taking a Poll.
Do you believe that Jesus/God appears to people physically still today, such as when He appeared to Saul on the road to damascus? Or will He not show Himself to anyone again until He returns to call His church home?

He didnt show himself Physically to Paul on the road to damascus.

13At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

14And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 15And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

He saw a bright light not Jesus physically...and I dont think anyone will see Jesus physically until he returns.

Thank you very much for pointing that out! I didn't realize.
The reason I was asking was because I know a person who claims God appears to him physically. He accused me of not being able to see Him because I don't pray enough or read my Bible enough.
I think the guy is a crazy lunatic, but he swears that God appears to him. However the things he claims happens with him and God seem to contradict what I know from the Bible.
I just wondered if anyone thought that God would reveal Himself physically to people right now, or if that won't happen again until He returns in the clouds to call His church home?

He did indeed show Himself many times including the road to Emmaus- does He show Himself today? well He certainly could- does that make one more spiritual to receive such a blessing? Probably not- but if it suits His purpose and thats what it takes to get your attention I don't see why He wouldn't.

Yes it does Viotlet...God told moses that no man could see his face because his glory would kill any human instantly. God is holy and righteous how can we in our sinful state although saved by grace behold all of God perfectness?? We cant!

So then would you guys agree that anyone who claims to physically see and touch Jesus; Anyone who claims that he shows up at their house and has face to face conversations with them, would be a complete nut-job? Because thats the impression I get from this guy I know who claims to see God. He even makes up these ridiculous stories about how God throws potatos at him or something. completely absurd. The guy also claims to be Bi-sexual and says God is ok with it. I just don't believe him, but he insists. well, whatever, he's the one who has to answer for it not me.

Well if this was true God would be a liar and we all know that God cannot lie. So my next question would be why do you even associate yourself with this guy? Obvioulsy something is deeply wrong! I mean God throwing potatoes at him!!! I mean the thought of it is hilarious but we all know that isnt happening although that gave me a hearty laugh lol my crazy imagination only need a lil fuel to get a blaze going. Pray for your friend!

Well luckily I don't know him in person. He is someboday I met through myspace. He asked me to start reading his blogs (which the majority make extravagant claims about things he does with God) and it only took 1 to realize something wasn't right with him. I told him plainly that I don't believe he see's God and that I think he needs mental help. He accused me of being judgemental and told me the only reason I can't see God is because I don't pray enough or read the Bible enough.
