good---barn.bad----fire.so what do we learn ,good spirits get stored for safekeeping until the end.but where do bad spirits go,do they recycle on earth until they get better or stored elsewhere waiting for judgement?could this explain the 9 year old geniuses.

As men made in the image of God, we may die once or twice. But we never recycle.

The just die in body and are raised in spirit to God (for me, I believe there may be a purging after death so that we are perfected before we go to Heaven)

The unjust die in body and spirit (twice) and go to that place with out God - Hell.

We only die once and after death like Brother Larry says ...... the judgement. There is no atoning after we die. We have to repent of our sins here on earth and accept Jesus Christ into our hearts... thus being crucified with Christ comes to mind. I am not of my own... I am bought with a price and the price was Christ death on the cross so that I might have life and have it more abundantly.

I do not go any other place after death but am received by Jesus in heaven because I have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb that was slain for me on the cross of Calvary.

I have confessed my sins and am a new creation because He tells me old things are passed away ...behold all things are new. I know that I have been redeemed and He has accepted me into the family of God and I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Biblically speaking as we are found in Christ we are given His righteousness and He was given our sin to bear and only on that basis are we acceptable to God. If we could pay our debt He wouldn't have had to do it be He was quite serious when He spoke these words " it is finished" -all of our debts were paid for
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

we now are called to
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

And we now know as Christians
