Larry - the local radar from your area is showing about 90 minutes worth. A thunderstorm cell is in your back yard and is moving southeast to northwest off the Gulf. You need the rain as we do next door in Alabama!

It's finally nice...Western Washington hasn't had much of a normal smmer...some of the trees are already turning color.

Wow.... We are crying for rain here. Everything is drying up. We have had heat and sun all summer and the grass and the trees are all brown. Some of the leaves are just falling off so don't know what will happen with the fall colours.
It has been a really wierd summer. I live in a townhouse complex and would you believe the city phoned me to tell me that the new trees that they planted are dying and want me to water them. LOL So myself and another guy are watering them and it takes four hours to do it each week. I guess I can say I am doing my part for the environment.

Sunny but a little cool afternoon now. But it's better than heat... The weather was changeable all the summer here: rains, heat and thunderstorms...
