I want to ask you, my dear sisters and brothers, what do you think about the second coming of Jesus, when will it be? As I know, there are many opinions about it and what about your?

We can't know exactly but Jesus did tell us to watch for signs.

Anybody who claims to know the precise answer is wrong.
Remember the words of Jesus
Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
We find virtually the identical words in Mark 13:32
What I do know is that He is coming and it must be closer today than it was yesterday.

A lot of dates have been set over the millennia. They all of course have been wrong. Matt 24 has always been difficult to interpret - I don't understand it either. First - I think he was talking about the future destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem. And second - he was talking about the second coming? He put the two different events together, but then he also said that he didn't know himself the time of his coming.

So there were two events with an unknown (if any) period of time between them. Some say this was a coming in judgment and he gathered his people out of the city - which did happen. ??? He also said that some of those who heard him would see his coming - kind of supports the latter view.

I think the idea that we should live every day as if it were the day of his coming is a good idea - but it has been almost 2,000 years. Prophetic people are saying that in the next 20 - 30 years God is going to bring in a billion people into the Kingdom. ???

I belive He is indeed coming soon- if He tarries another thousand years out of His desire to be merciful that will be fine too- but as a preacher once said- I believe the second coming is so close I only buy gas 1/2 a tank at a time!-LOL!
Seriously the doctrine of expectancy has been a cornerstone of christain faith and has been instrumental in setting a tone of urgency to reach the lost- Do I believe He is coming soon? YES- blessings in His Name Larry

My opinion on this subject can only be this.

No One Knows That Day and Hour

It all depends on what one thinks is soon. For some of us who are in the older generation. Soon is tommorow. I do know He is comming! The important thing is to be ready.

He is coming soon and very soon! Just look at the world around us! People are dying by the millions the earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, everything is failng but the word of God.

The bible warns us of all this

and it is happening all around us wake up and smell the coffee!
