There are lots of ways but I really love John chapter 9. The healing of the blind man.
All he did was share what had happened to him. He did not get into debate or arguement just said
I do not know the answer to all your theological questions but this I do know once I was blind and now I can see.
Nobody can dispute the reality of a changed life.

Last week I was in Sturgis SD at bike week. I was there with my band but did have a day to work in the tent ministry. I prayed with 22 people to recieve Christ as savior and Lord. Total for the ministry for the week was almost 900. Praise God!

The method I was taught, and teach myself is to tell your story in as few minutes as possible. We use the 3 minute plan.
Within the 3 minutes:
who I was before I met Jesus, who is Jesus, What He did in my life.
Mixed in with this I use Romans road text in a form that presents the gospel. The key is: it's not about what they need, it's about what I needed and found. God will tell them they need it, that part you can relax about and enjoy the person as you watch God work.

This needs to be natural for you, so it's something worth praticing until you can flow through it.

When I ask someone if I can have 3 minutes to tell them my story, I almost never get a no answer.

I hope this helps

That is truly AWESOME Eldermike!! I myself try to be that beacon of light that someone can see off in the distant. A light that draws others near with a curiosity and a longing. I let Jesus shine through me and have noticed that God has brought many people "to me". I also share my testimony with high hopes that I might plant a seed that either I, or someone else might water somewhere down the line. God is very diligent about inviting Himself into someone's heart... and placing the right person in their path that will know what to say by discerning and listening to the Holy Spirit. I pray that your ministry is blessed JRF, and that God will bring His children to be witnessed to and nurtured by you. God Bless You!!

What is your style of Witnessing?

I have no style except that when I do verbaly witness it is simple, direct, personal and sincere . No pattern, no predesribed speech or rehersed act, no canned presentation. Witness is not something in a box that is pulled out and used when one thinks the moment is right. Witness is in the demonstration of a life in Christ. The words should be used only to claify when they have questions.

Sincerely His
Cliff
