LOL MY BISHOP*****Today while in my depressingly dead church I was just sitting there thinking about what it is to be a true worshipper of God. I was thinking about some clips I saw on youtube of churches enjoying the glory of God. I love to watch peole shouting in church I am amazed with the way the spirit (when it is the spirit that is) makes someone move. Its just amazing. So anyway...I was just sitting in church with my eyes clothes just magnifying the lord just worshipping him in my head and all and all of a sudden I started crying and sobbing incredibly loud while my bishop was up "preaching"...and instead of him praying with me the grumble some hallelujah's and he keeps on talking on about whatever... and then he blurts out something about the devil not wanting you to hear the word of God and then goes to Acts something or other..while I was still crying and praising the lord! WOW!!! I am just like WOW! My church isnt a church at all I dont know what to call it. They are all dead and spiritless minus a few. It is just a snore!

How long God? How long until you set the record straight and let those dry bones know you live! You are alivie! You inhabit the praises of your people! You are a holy righteous God and you deserve all the praises and the glory! Lord please allow me to be free at all times to give you all the Glory and Praises. Lord I know you are alive, because I felt your spirit move in me and around me. Lord I know your alive living and breathing beside me and in my soul. I love you lord today although my heart is so heavy right now and my eyes are so full of tears. Lord I love you anyway..anyway you bless me I'll be satisfied.

I was kicked out of my church (in my lost years, as I call them) and the youth group turned their back on me and when I came back they still wouldn't take me.

I don't go to churches for that reason. My relationship with God is just between Him and I. It's our love relationship between a divine Father and a prodigal child such as me.

I will be a witness to the Lord whenever asked, but I don't go to church. I've never been a people person and I feel like an outcast at churches. No one talks to me and I sit in the pew alone. At least at that church I did.

But I pray to Jesus and He knows I love Him and He accepts me just as I am.

wow! That is crazy...people today arent REAL christains they are the watered down living life as clost to the world as possible christians, and I dont want to be like that. I want to serve the lord with all my heart and might on a daily bases. My church is just as dead as dead can get and when he made that comment I was just like Jesus Help me! We are suppose to love each other. And there sure isnt much love around these days.

Yes you are right, JesusReignsForever, individuals who are put in a place to be devoted leaders according to life's rescue, must be well with God, firstly one must answer as a man or lady considering what is right or what aught to be appreciated examples ..

I have no idea what in the world you are talking about and I have read what you wrote twice...

you have got to remember ,preachers read the gospel to people who could not read or write for a long time.so interuptions like you were saying in them days were not good.information gets passed to preachers to about how evil destroys a reading.also there are a lot of people who go to church blindly.never read the bible.diffrent people at diffrent stages of faith.

Isn't there a 'lively' church you can go to, JRF? But pray about it first. Maybe God wants you there in the church you are now.
