You know I was thinking about this today and it made me wonder something..why do people not believe in God? I have two cousins who dont and of course, me being a Christian, talk about God all the time. And they always try to ask me questions that they think I wont be able to answer, they are right I cant, but the Bible can. So they ask me something, like why would God do this or why would he do that. God works in mysterious ways thats for sure, but most of the time I can answer their questions with verses from the Bible and they simply dont know what to say because its the truth and they dont want to believe it.

Many people are very hesitant to acknowledge anything as truth until they are ready to accept personal responsibility and accountability for that truth.

God opens His Word to us - His children, so we are able to understand it and to believe it. It's daily bread for our souls, light to our feet, wealth of wisdom, solvation to all our questions and problems! Jesus said: "Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand" (Lk.8:10). Praise the Lord to His mercy to us! |
