Personally, I'm in favour of Speaking in Tongues - that may just be my linguistic side coming out again, but As Rainbow Brite says, there is much Biblical support for it.

I suppose it's one of the two Gifts which is easiest to fake, and unfortunately, some people do.

I know about that too, and i believe in 1 Corinthians 9 - corect me if I'm wrong - but Paul says that "you should not make someone else sin" and if, by speaking in Tongues, you make someone else "fake it"... If you're alone with God, worshiping him in your own way, or praying even, I pray in tongues.
Also, interestingly, there was a scientific experiment and when you pray in tongues - or pray in genearl, i can't remember which - the part of your brain which deals with problem solving shuts down.

This topic annoys me..everyone is just going on and on around the same dung hill... I wish they would close it again so people can stop debating.

I also never intended this to become a debate, "A nation divided will fail"... I asked this because i found some book, by some guy who says it's not 'Biblical', i mean "Modern Tongues" or whatever he said, i forget.
