mine comes from my love of the aspect to philosophy called epistemology.... in my search for truth, and epistemology is devoted to looking at our presuppositions.... to testing them... to try and find out what and why we believe what we believe, I came to the conclusion that unless God has spoken then we are lost in subjectivist and chaos... so in a sense, my screen name says that I am a "maniac" in search of the truth.... while I have found it, there is much more to find, and the Word of God is an endless journey into truth... there is so much truth there in those pages that we could never hope to mine all that truth on our lifetime.... my screen name also comes from my love of the writings of theologians Greg Bahnsen, John Frame, Corelius Van Til, Vern Poythress, Richard Pratt, John Gerstner, RC Sproul, Francis Schaeffer, BB Warfield and Robert Reymond etc etc in special regard to the subject of finding out what is truth and what is this truth based on.... and to all those who have written in defense of the infallibility and inerrancy of the Scriptures
