Default Where do angels come from?

Thought I might pose the question to see what type of responses I will get. It seems that the answer should be quite obvious by now. We have had over 2000 years to figure out the answer and plenty of scriptures. It is amazing that we don't know who we are in respect to our angelic transfiguration.

I'm with Angel2Drew all the way on this one!!

Stanlyg,

By your statement in your post:

" It is amazing that we don't know who we are in respect
to our angelic transfiguration. " transfiguration:def. The act
of transforming so as to exalt or glorify

Are you suggesting or implying that humans were created
from a 'different' spiritual entity? Scripture states we, mankind,
were a unique and 'separate' creation from the angelic realm.

We were made in 'God's image' not taken from angels!

This is 'false doctrine' and not found in God's Word!

Gen. 1:26: And God [Adonai] said, Let us [Elohim, Trinity]
make man in our [Elohim] image, after our [Elohim, the Godhead
Romans1:20; Col. 2:9. likeness: and let them have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the
cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth.

Im totally with Setfree and Angel2Drew on this issue.

Speaking of salvation Peter said, "8Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, 11trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things."
1 Peter 1

The Greek word suggests great spirits ‘bending over’ to see. Clearly, we are not angels and he mentions that we have the privilege of sharing the Gospel which angels long to do.

Also,
In Psalms 78:24-26
24 he rained down manna for the people to eat,
he gave them the grain of heaven.
25 Men ate the bread of angels;
he sent them all the food they could eat.
26 He let loose the east wind from the heavens
and led forth the south wind by his power.

In Psalm 91:10-12
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways
;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

Mark 13:32
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

God's word is the same yesterday, today and forever. It will not change with time.
