why do some people bother getting married.there is that many divorces its making it a joke.as they say only fools rush in.

God knew that man needed help and He created woman for this reason. When we marry, we are one and it not in His will for us to divorce. Problems can occur, but it has to be prayerfully dealt. Today, marriages are not Christian based and divorce is seen as the first option, when problems occur.

A marriage can be a blessing or a curse and should be entered into prayerfully- it is a marvelous thing when God puts two people togeather and they become " one flesh"- it has been one of the most rewarding expieriences of my life.

But why do those people divorce? Is it because their is abuse or unfaithfulness or is it because something happens and one of the spouses give up or one of the spouses is unwilling to reconcile or forgive?

In this day, I highly doubt that there are more legitimate divorces rather than illegitimate. If a married couple followed God and His Word, would there still be as many divorces?

The problem isn't necessarily rushing in, but not letting it be " 'till death do us part".

Pastor John Haggee once said " America is the only nation in the world were people get impatient standing in front of a microwave oven"- we live in a day were people have no patience and the " love" the have is based off convienience and momentary happiness instead of dare I say it- commitment and sacrificial love- it is a sad state indeed but lets not kill the patient in order to get rid of the disease-

People marry for all kinds of reasons--too often the wrong reasons. My first marriage failed because I married for the wrong reason and married the wrong person who was never faithful. The second time I married for the right reason (because I loved her), but I still married the wrong person who constantly criticized everything I said and did, and I mean EVERYTHING. Now I am happily single.
