Default Favorite Bible Characters

Who are your favorite Old and New Testament Characters and why? (excluding God)

I like David for the old testament, He was a warrior, who loved God with all his heart. He made mistakes but truly repented.

I like Paul for the new testament, He was a great teacher, who was a shown a lot of grace for killing Christians before his conversion, and he loved the Lord and gave it everything he had.

Hmmm, OT I'd have to say Samson just because He was so strong both physically and in the Lord, He died saving his nation.
For the NT I like both Luke and Cornelius. Luke was such a great doctor, teahcer, leader and a devoted man of God. Cornelius' story amazes me and I love how one man can turn his life around to Jesus even amongst those who would kill him for it.

I like Job.
He represents so much of our own lives, emotions and spirituality.

Old Testament - Elijah. I see so much supernaturally natural resolve in his frail humanity

New Testament - The Roman Centurion in Luke 7:1-9, everytime I read this story and especially verses 6-9, I am so blessed.

In the OT, I love Enoch. Not much is said about him in the bible but I love the fact that the bible says he had fellowship with God. In the NT I love John. The bible describes him as the disciple that the Lord loved and the one who used to lay his head on the bosom of Jesus Christ.

My favorite is Peter. He is so genuine, so human, in all his actions.

I'd have to say Elijah.

Abel is too.
Indeed. The first martyr.
