Can people of today be demon possesed ?

I know this is a really odd question to ask but I know people who said they have personally witnessed witnessed demon possession and I don't doubt them as they are faithful Christians just like I am. My Mom an grandmother say things like "that doesn't happen in todays time". But I'm not sure I agree with that. For example, I know a strong Christian couple who was married for 40 years. Out of nowhere, he got on his motorcycle, had sex with other women and left her. Personally, I think he was demon possessed. Although he wasn't spasmodically foaming at the mouth, Satan had taken hold of him. What do you think?

Demon posession does still exist but you can also be demon opressed.

I grew up in Africa. Be assured Demon possession is still a very real factor. There is debate about the terminology Is it possession, oppression etc but call it what you like it is real. The devil is real BUT GOD IS GREATER!
