I'm just curious, how long has this forum been around? And was interested about how other people found the site. I also think it is interesting about how we so many people from all over the world are on this forum. Why did you choose to join this forum instead of all the other available.

I found this searching on google. the first forum had huge amounts of people and it looked like a place with a lot of useless arguing. I liked the controls placed on this place and the key beliefs in it. It also looked well laid out and easy to navigate through, Good Job to the people in charge!!

There are usually a lot of guest on here, just reading stuff. I wonder if they are looking for something in particular.

The vast majority of what you see as viewer activity is in fact, "search bots" logging new entries for various worldwide search engines. That data is not available to you from your general membership registration, but from the Moderator Control Panel, we can see them. Yesterday at 14:15 Hrs. USA CDT, there were 7 members here, 3 non-registered viewers and 62 "bots". They do not have access to PM, email, private discussion areas or control panels and profiles. However, everything else is fair game to them.

In answer to your question I was looking for a forum where I could meet and chat to fellow believers. Like you I did not want a forum with anger and deep discussions all the time. I searched Google and found a Christian Web Masters Forum. I joined that because I felt it may be helpful (and it has). A link from that forum brought me here and I visit a few times every day.

Also, I too, think it is so awesome to be talking to people from all over the world!

We have people from England, Malaysia, India, Scotland, Africa, and so on and so on......

I like the way Jeff says to use the internet to spread the Gospel and he and the moderators are doing a most wonderful job!

Back in 2005, I didn't really know how forums worked, but when I visited some I really liked the idea and I thought I should also make one because I knew design sites. 'Christianforumsite.com' was registered because when you have the main keywords 'Christian' and 'forum' in your domain name, it attracts the bots very much (now its a nuisance lol). Then I was inviting my friends and some friends from forums that visited. Then we added more moderators, some left, some stayed. What I didnt realise was that it was all there in God's plan to involve me in some kind of Christian ministry.

And yes, definitely we can use the internet to spread the Gospel. If we as adults don't spread the Gospel, our children will. If our children will not, the stones will cry out loud. But THE GOSPEL WILL BE PREACHED.
