Jesus is the SON NOT THE SUN- yes there were may pagan sun gods but there was and is only one Son of God do not confuse the two. All creation was created to reflect God's glory and it's perversion by demonic religions should come as no surprise as satan is and was a deciever from the start- put your mind at rest.

The author of the video takes the perspective that the similarities amongst all theses ancient stories prove they had a common origin...but it is an assumption that mythology is itself the source of the parallels. It is equally plausible that one primary set of truths is at the core of all these mythologies…and that since mankind had one common ancestor these concepts would have been passed on and gradually mutated as they passed through oral tradition.

Moses wrote the Pentateuch long after the events of Genesis occurred…but the oral history of these events, and even the prophetic parallels yet to manifest in history, were already there. The fact that so many parallels exist in ancient history is precisely what one would expect to find if one core truth was behind it all…so which one is the core truth? Are we going to follow Horus, or Yaweh?

The Bible holds up a lot better than the Egyptian book of the dead ;-)

Yes, Satan didn't write the bible or create the stars but he does know the bible and what believing in it and in Jesus can bring to people. He also knows that today, with so many scientists and with more and more people with the ability to go to school and dig deep into science, it is harder and harder for people to just "believe". Also he (Satan) worked through the people that wrote all those legends and myths about Horus and the other so called Gods which do not exist. Remember that, if you believe the bible and you believe in God as you say, then you believe that the oldest person that ever existed is Jehovah. He existed before the Egyptians and the Incas, bhudism and hinduism, etc. He's been around for a long, long, loooong time! The old testament talkes and prophysies about Jesus and He is the fulfillment of the prophecy and law. You can't be a "Christian" without believing the "Christ" which is Jesus. I would sugest that you really spend some time in prayer about this! It sounds to me like these lies are already starting to create doubt and unbilief in your heart and this is EXACTLY what satan wants to do. Remember the word says that no one will go to the Father except through Jesus. There really is no way around that since by believeing in Jehovah alone you can not be saved. Jesus paid the price and atoned for your sins. Without Him you can not enter the gates of Heaven, no matter how much you believe in Jehovah or how "good" you are
