Dear Friends in Christ,
reekie, as you have noticed, is prone to run away with himself once he gets behind a keyboard.
The is a website, I am told, by the name of "HELIUM" who actually pays you for your stories.
Can any of you verify this.??????
If that is so, is it a mere gimmick or do you get a reasonable return.
Us old "Silver Surfers" have a lifetime of stories to tell.
Sadly, most of our governments have seen us as a problem and would rather see us dead than give us the true pensions we paid for during our lifetimes - many have given their lives for the same governments with little recognition as on the front of "Sunday Times Scotland" magazine.
A photo of Earl Haig. "Your Country need You" but don't expect it to care for you afterwards.
So it would be nice to earn something from telling tales in the comfortable surroundings of your own home without trying to discipline yourself to the daily several thousand words to write a book - and then have to go round forty publishers with it.
J.K.Rowling had to do that with her first Harry Potter book.
I look forward with great interest to you replies and/or suggestions.
Some Forums keep writing to me abd asking for more stories so on the surface they must be of interest to some.
