I just listened to a Pod cast on repentance
-Repentance is turning around from or turning away from sin

-Our trouble even as Christians is that we still find it hard to accept we do things the wrong way.(Pride)
-Pride is in our way
-We will use excuses like; “it’s not my fault, I’m not that bad, God knows I’m doing my best, I am not wrong�
-We have to come clean and repent. Wether we are saved or not we should repent daily.
-First we have to do a moral inventory of ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit to show us our sins that are hidden and often obvious
-We need to trust God and not be proud
-My moral inventory tells me I’m a rotten guy. I sin everywhere and do things wrong.



I repent from
Being selfish towards my wife when it comes to hearing her talk
Being rude and thinking of people as lower then me
Thinking I can judge people and their motives
Looking at women on T.V and letting my eyes and thoughts wonder a little before turning off
Allowing myself to click open those dirty emails instead of deleting them
For being involved in senseless gossip and becoming emotionally involved in other peoples gossip
For acting or believing that I know more then other Christians.
For believing that you are who the Bible says you
For adding in my version where I am slack enough not to have learned your ways
For being stubborn rude and proud
For having doubt and fear and not being honest
For making things a little different or exaggerating the truth to gain my needs and wants

I want to repent from my sins
To be made whole and recover from the damage of my sins
I want to pray more and thank you because I know you personally
I will turn away from my sinful ways
I will seek forgiveness from those I have sinned against
I need to change my behavior and do something to signify or declare my change
To ask for your help daily just as the AA’s ask for help to not drink another day everyday
I am rotten to the bone but that’s why I have you, my Saviour Lord Jesus
Forgive me I pray in Your name

I am reading thru the Old Testament right now and I find myself repenting with every verse- say ouch or say amen!

I too have many sins to repent. With Gods love I know I can beat these demons and become a better person.
