What is your personality?

I am curious to all the different types of personality's we have here.

Mine is kinda of a awkward spiral. One minute i will be walking in a convenience store calm as can be, then the next you see me fly by you on a electric scooter. I am usually the one to make the best out of any situation where i embarrass myself and those i am around by any means necissary. Meaning i will roll around on the ground in a packed mall, hum the Mission Impossible theme song, and i will (have done this before) show up wearing nothing but scuba gear trying to swim in the pet store. Unfortunately i didn't get into the building.. security found me before i got in the door lol.

So what is all of your personality's?

I'm pretty unique, I think.
I can be very serious and I love a deep, intelligent conversation~
But I am very silly too.
I love to laugh, sing and dance but the latter 2 usually in my kitchen or media room.
This way I make everyone else laugh!
I love history and anything old fashioned.
I love lace, antiques, long dresses....
I love gardening, flowers, trees, just being outside.
My favorite color is purple~surprise!
I'm scared to fly and of water deeper than over my knees.
I love to draw and write.
I still get on the swings at the park and like to play in the snow.
I love all kinds of music too.
I'm a wife, momma and a Gramomma.
I have too many cats to count and 6 dogs and I want an African Pygmy goat!
I'm told I act like I'm 14 but I guess that's why I'm so unique~

I have a mixed personality.

I may appear reserved on the outside but on the inside I am very outgoing. I am calm and collect and am serious when it counts. My dream is in the Martial Arts and it is because of God that I may have enough confidence to do well. I love Dancing, because Dance is an expression of self. Running helps me visualize and to focus. I also have something for people. I would like to beable to empathize with others and put myself in their shoes. I want to gain a better understanding of the world around me.

Some interesting information was provided to me during Seminary training many years ago while studying for my Doctorate and this information is still accurate, according to some research that I just completed.

There are FOUR basic personality categories that all humans fall into. Which category do you fall into in the most basic terms?

The Driver = a person who is impatient, takes control, somewhat arrogant, has power and money and gets what he or she wants most every time. Most large business CEO's and business leaders fall into this category.

The Expressive = a person who is the center of attention; the comic, the actor, the master of ceremonies, the life of the party and thrives upon the attention that they receive from others. Most Hollywood types and politicians fall into this category.

The Analytical = a person who is logically and technically oriented. This person demands precision and is a person who places a high level of detail into everything in their lives. Engineers, technical people and computer geeks fall into this category.

The Amiable = a person who just wants to be liked by others for what they are. They care about others, they help out even when not asked to do so and find satisfaction in family values and something as simple as patting a dog on the head and saying "Good Boy". Most persons fall into this category.

Conflicts: The Driver and the Amiable do NOT get along because they are diametrically opposed in values and behavior. The Expressive and the Analytical do not get along for the same reason. The Analytical and Amiable are close in values and do well together while the Drivers and Expressives also tollerate each other. There are many times each day that we see these personality traits in those around us. There are many more personality variations and combinations of the basic four, but these are the most basic types.
