I should have added that the ultimate question to put forth to any one in any other religion is the same question Christ asked His disciples about what people were saying about Him....
"Who do people say that I am?" So..... for the Wiccan.... what do they do with Jesus? Who do they say He is? Is He the Son of God, God incarnate, second person of the Trinity, God of very God, the one who will one day judge all the earth, the one before whom every knee will bow, the only way to salvation, the only way to the Father...? If the answer to any of these questions is "no" then your friend is lost, dead in her sins and transgressions, and the best friend you can possibly ever be to her is to tell her of the way the truth and the life... and not leave the relationship with any misunderstandings about that fact.... about the thought "well you believe what you want to believe, if it makes you happy to pray to God, to believe in Jesus, to sing songs of worship to Jehovah, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit then fine.... that religion is fine for you, I just don't believe those things, I have my own beliefs thank you very much".... then you have a very serious responsibility to be completely clear with her.... if Jehovah does not exist, if Jesus the Messiah is not the only way to God and if the Holy Spirit likewise does not exist, they all your/our believing, praying, singing songs etc will not bring into existence a triune being that does not in fact, in all reality, objectively exist. We have to get away from the rampant subjectivism and pluralism and find a way to tell people that 2 contradictory statements or propositions cannot possibly exist... and therefore 2 contradictory statements about Jesus cannot both be true. So... what does she say about your Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Christ? Where she errs, it is your duty and privilege to correct her..... blessings, Ken |

I don't know if this helps but I just don't want you to get caught as I did when I was younger and ended up in the club scene when I was a Christian!
Don't be fooled into believing it is your duty to turn your friend or other clubby friends to Jesus. If you are a young Christian with old habits it can be a trick to you believing you have to go back and save those you left behind. Put your relationship with Jesus first dude and God will take care of the rest. Put on your amour defend what Jesus has given you protect your inheritance and if you have a burning desire to witness, great go to hospitals or nursing homes and get confidence before going to places of GREAT TEMPTATION, if you know what I mean with the clubs! Apart from that John and Violets help has been spot on. Praise God for your New Life, I just did, fair dinkum dude ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've been to some clubs several times in the past but since i found the Lord, i don't know what i ever saw in clubbing. =)
About four years ago, i had a friend who's dad allowed her to practice wicca. It's so sad coz she's such a caring person...but she was an atheist I lost touch with her after she transferred somewhere else. I know the Lord will send someone to bring her out of darkness though Or maybe He's already sent someone God works through people, it's amazing <3

So it could be seen as maybe I've been sent to bring Karen out of the darkness also? I also haven't been back on the club scene in a couple of months, but I definately enjoy a beer every now and then. I know my limit now.
Also, grabbing a beer with friends is great. Last night I sat in a room with four athiests and was able to witness for 2 hours, bringing the word of God to them, and two or three of those people have agreed to come to church with me on Sunday. Praise God! |
