I read a Scripture a while ago which meant a lot to me, but I failed to note down what it was, or where it was.
I have a strong feeling it was in Genesis or Exodus, and was around the story of Abram and the general idea of it was "He who steps out in faith without knowledge will recieve greater rewards", or words to that effect. If anyone can direct me to the actual scripture for this general idea, I would be very grateful! Thanks! |

I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THAT ONE NEWLIFE- THE PRINCIPLE OF STEPPING OUT IN FAITH ON GOD'S PROMISE IS WOVEN ALL THRU ABRAHAMS STORY- GOD DID HOWEVER TELL HIM :
Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. |

This one's from Hebrews and relates to how Abraham set out on faith.
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. (Hebrews 11:8)
