Default I need some help

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I need some answers.

I accepted Christ as my savior when I was 10 years old, but when I got older in my teenage years, I became more rebellous and angry, and I turned my back on my faith, saying I was an atheist and being very immoral and blasphemous as most teens are, I imagine. But, I had a bad experience with alcohol, and I became scared for the first time in a long time about my soul. I shed my tears and I cried and begged the Lord for forgiveness. I am sincerely sorry for turning my back on my Savior, Jesus Christ. I really want to go to Heaven and be with the Lord but I'm worried that prehaps I'm not forgiven. Can someone please help me on this. I'm asking from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you and God bless

God's grace is beyond our comprehension. Many people feel the same way that you do that God cannot forgive them for what they have done. I have felt that way myself at times. But take comfort in knowing that you are forgiven. When Jesus shed his blood it was for all of our sins.

Jeremy the Lord Himself said He would never leave us or forsake us- if you study these scriptures:Luk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? Luk 15:5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.Luk 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.Luk 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.ALL HEAVEN IS REJOICING OVER YOU- THE REASON YOU ARE TURNING BACK IS THE HOLY SPIRIT DRAWING AND CONVICTING YOUR HEART OUT OF LOVE!Luk 15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: Luk 15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.Luk 15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. Luk 15:14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. Luk 15:15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. Luk 15:16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. Luk 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! Luk 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, Luk 15:19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. Luk 15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. Luk 15:21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. Luk 15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:Luk 15:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:Luk 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. LIKE YOU THIS SON DIDN'T FEEL WORTHY TO COME HOME AS A SON BUT INSTEAD WANTED TO SLEEP WITH THE SERVANTS- LIKE YOU HIS (HEAVENLY) FATHER IS RUNNING TO YOU WANTING TO HOLD YOU AND KISS YOU- IN HIS EYES WHEN WE REPENT IT IS AS IF THE TRANSGRESSIONS NEVER HAPPENED- JUST COME HOME- SPEND TIME WITH GOD- READ HIS WORD FOR IT IS A LOVE LETTER TO YOU- FIND A GOOD BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCH AND START ATTENDING- SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE THINGS OF GOD AND LEAVE THE REST TO HIM- HE WILL LEAD YOU, HE WILL GUIDE YOU, HE WILL HEAL YOU, HE WILL GIVE YOU PURPOSE-MANY BLESSINGS IN CHRIST LARRY

Thank you. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that I was blasphemous and had no guilty conscious until that life shaking thing happened. I heard that a saved person can get lost and never be saved again. I hope this is not true, because I have cried until I can't cry anymore and I'm in total suffering.

Jeremy my brother- the scripture declares that "Judgement begins at the house of God"- the judgement of the church (you and me) has a distinct purpose- it is designed to help us get free from everything that seperates us from an intimacy with Christ- the very fact that there is a great shaking in your life- the very fact you have been brought to a place of brokeness-the very fact that you want to come back to God- these are simply signs of a loving God moving your heart and your circumstances to bring you back into His arms- He said:
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

You are finding yourself in the midst of this very process- repentance has come and now he is molding your heart to a place were you can't even stand the idea of going back- Hallelujah!

Jeremy - Just repent of your previous behavior and mean it from the heart. God will forgive.

You seem to be on the correct path now and that is what matters... Please remember John 3:16 (KJV).

There is only ONE unpardonable sin... that is recapped in Luke 12:8-12 (KJV) where at the coming of the antichrist, many will be deceived into thinking thet he actually IS Christ. However, those who know and understand Luke 12 as well as all of Revelation and know that the antichrist comes to earth at the sixth trump to deceive. The unpardonable sin is for God's elect - those persons who KNOW that the antichrist comes to earth first pretending to be Christ - to refuse to allow God to speak through them when they are delivered up to witness against Satan. Since the antichrist has not yet arrived, no one could have committed the unpardonable sin as yet.

Many persons who have never been taught about the antichrist and the time lines as covered in Revelation, will be the ones thinking that the antichrist is in fact Christ because they just don't know any better.

Perhaps you could go over the very scripturally accurate teachings located here for a better understanding of what will happen in the end times and how those who do not understand this will be deceived. PLEASE read these studies through in their entirety because they are accurate based upon the Original Manuscripts:

Just stay in God's Word, try your best to stay on the path to Him and you'll be just fine.

Paul was a blasphemer and he turned out pretty good.

1Timothy 1:12-13 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; 13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

But, I rejected my faith during this time period (I think it's called apostasy). But I seen how foolish I was, is it still possible for me to get to Heaven?

The only thing between you and God is your conscience- accept Jesus's frogiveness and let the past be the past- did not Peter deny Christ 3 times and yet Jesus took him back? Jesus knew every mistake we would ever make BEFORE He choose to save us but His love paid the price for us anyway- repent, receive forgivness and move on- you can't pay for your mistakes (any type of penance or self flagelation- physical or mental)- you never could but HE DID- do not limit the grace and saving power of our Lord in your life
