Deuteronomy 30:15,16
See, I set before you today, life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
Life and prosperity; death and destruction were choices that God placed before the Israelites and advised them to choose life and prosperity by acknowledging Him as God and obeying His commands.
If you desire to escape untimely death and destruction there is only one way dear friend and that is to live close to God. The Bible says in
Psalm 91 and verse 14, “Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.”
King Saul tried to kill David 21 times but we read in the Bible “God did not give David into his hands”. If you desire to be safe continually as you live on earth, you must be in the Savior Jesus’ mighty hands. You must dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Look around you and you will see death playing havoc in families, but you can rest secure under the wings of the Almighty. Believe in God’s promises.
In John chapter 10 Jesus says that He is the Good Shepherd. And then goes on to say, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand."(Vs. 27-29)
Remember, the devil cannot snatch you out the Heavenly Father’s hand. But you can walk out of the Father’s hand by disobeying His Word and living as you please. God wants to gift you life and prosperity. So love Him, walk in His ways and be true to Him. God bless you.
