Just a little exhortation:
Psa 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. I was wondering what your expectations were today- are you expecting God to bless you ,help you , love you, provide for you, and make a way for you? Always expect God to be greater than your trails and problems- always expect Him to turn every situation for good- know and understand that you have His ear and favor in every situation- are there any areas that you can apply this in your life today- yes - every step you take- Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isa 26:4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: Father thank you in Jesus Name that I will have great peace today-thank you that I can look at my life in a new way as I turn all my expectations toward You- in Jesus Name I pray- Amen! |

That's cool enough abishi but what are you expecting today-and every moment of every day? Live your life in anticipation of the wonderful things God is wanting and willing to do for you- put your faith in Him instead of putting your faith in your circumstance!

While I have differant and specific prayers on any given day, these two peices of scripture, this prayer and the words of this song express my expectations of my father in heaven every day.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread. Mat 6:12 And forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Pro 30:7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Pro 30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Pro 30:9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. God, grant me the patience to accept the the things I cannot change, the strenght to change the things I cannot accept and the wisdom to know the differance. I am weak, but Thou art strong; Jesus, keep me from all wrong; I'll be satisfied as long As I walk, let me walk close to Thee. Just a closer walk with Thee, Precious Jesus, hear my plea, Daily walking close to Thee, Let it be, dear Lord, let it be. This is how I hope to apply this in my daily foot steps. To be as Paul in respect to wants. To learn to be content no matter my circumstance. Phi 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Sincerely in Him Cliff Last edited by Theophilus; 04-27-2007 at 12:11 AM. |
