I'm not here to talk about the song it'self but the scripture and the truth drawn from that scripture in these lyrics.

This is a seasonal occurance.
This forum is experiencing a season of intence spiritual warfare. There are reasons for that.
Often times during these later winter months is when (while the weather is still harsh and so many are restricted in activity) that many out of depression, fear, lonelyness, and simple boredom venture into forums such as this display themselve as we have seen so many do here of late.
It's not that simple
If this were a simple as banning and deleting their posts then that is what should be done.
If that is what the admin and ,mods and membership of this forum want to do then I will accept that.
I am not advocating that we should let them run free through this forum. But these people are hurting, Some in ways we cannot fully understand. We have a three fold issue here.
First and foremost, we must defend the faith.

Second we must protect those weak or doubting faith and the youth from some of this (I have no kinder way to say this than)"Stuff"

Third ,we have an obligation to Christ and this forum to try to help these hurting and lost people in their time of spiritual need.

That is why I am asking that we all make a sincere effert to to answer the need as much as we can.
I know full well what I'm asking.
It takes a lot of love effort ,discernment, tolorance and strenght to venture were few forums dare go for the Lord.
It is a heavy burden upon the the Admin and mod staff. (I know I've been there)
It takes a sincere and community effert to show these hurting and desparate lost soals that this forum and it's members are not like the rest that they have went into.
Those who post nasty remarks and signs of intolorance or just simply cast them out with a delete and banning.
I know this takes many from their comfort zones and pulls at their peace.
But I truely believe it is the Lords will or I would not be asking it.

It is only for a season.
The weather will break and the lost and suffering will take comfort in getting out and getting involved in the things of this world. Maybe we will get another chance next season ,maybe not.
The choice is ours brothers and sisters. What do you say?????

Just how can we do that????????

First thing is get the dirogitory (porn and profane language )off the board. That requires that we report these posts when we see them so the mod's can take what action is nescesary to protect the unsuspecting and vunurable amung us.
Then (if you can ) try to reach these people in some sincere way . Try to enguage them in some form of discussion. Try to reach them personaly. Many will hit and run. But make an effort any way. Show them you care. If they don't respond then show them the door.

And yes Theophilus we seem to have some hit and run artists here from time to time- my hope is with your maybe they can be reached for Christ- if not maybe a seed can be planted that will bloom later in life, I've seen it happen before.

To be honest, I was surprised that they were so disorganized. Often these raiders go to sites mostly just to get you upset and drag you into an argument. I'm guessing the first set were just a bunch of bored kids, because "professional" raiders wouldn't bother reading anything on the site, let alone respond. Do not let them drag you down. What they want more than anything else is for as many people as possible to read their posts.

They bring up senseless Q&A on the site, and only wreak havoc on here... of course, they're probably busy trolling and spamming other forums too - no doubt.

Other than that (back on topic) that's kind of freaky that they used the bible like that.

Every forum has spammers. I was on a cross country skiing forum the other day that was attacked by a spammer that posted filthy pictures. That forum is now only accepting new members after an Email verification and approval by the forum moderator. I can assure you that it is not really personally directed spiritual warfare. It is just some bored people who want to get a rise out of someone.
