The question- God sees us struggling- why doesn't He just snap His fingers and take care of all our problems at once?
The answer- God allows us to walk thru lifes trials and difficulties so we may grow in our faith as He daily walks with us. He has given us a faithwalk not a cakewalk. The object of the cross is death- death to our old ways of thinking, talking, walking and living. He never promised we wouldn't have storms in our lives but He did promise that if we base our life on believing Him we would stand. It is up to us to let go a little more each day- let go of self dependance and depend on Him, let go of fear and replace it with a mindset of faith and confidence in Him. Let us see every obsticle in our lifen for what it really is- another chance to trust God ans see Him glorified in our lives. Brothers and sisters it is time for us to embrace the cross of our Lord and die to our old way of living- if we seek to preserve it we only loose- all our planning, striving and sceaming hasn't preserved us but the mercies of God have- it is time to let go and let God! |

We are God's children. He treats us as His own children. To create a perfect life for us with no trials would not only spoil us, it would destroy the very thing he loves so very much. We were each created with free will. Not only can we choose to do good and bad, others that influence our lives are just as free. And while He can speak to our hearts and theirs, we are all able to ignore his pleas.

G-d does protect the righteous. If you are going through any kind of trial or tribulation it is because G-d is trying to bring something to your attention. You have in some way subjected yourself to it by sinning against G-d and removing yourself from his shelter. He allows your trouble so you can learn and come back to him for protection. Never forget this. When you are in trouble flee to G-d search your actions, thinking and soul to root out the unrighteousness. Then you will be blessed.

Jesus promised storms (trials) would come in everyones life- build your house on the world's system (sinking sand) and you will fall- if you build your house on His Word you will still have troubles but you will stand.
I am reminded of these scriptures- Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 1Pe 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Jam 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Jam 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Jam 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 1Pe 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Like my brother David I can cry: Psa 119:71 It is good2896 for me that3588 I have been afflicted;6031 that4616 I might learn3925 thy statutes.2706 Psa 119:72 The law8451 of thy mouth6310 is better2896 unto me than thousands4480, 505 of gold2091 and silver.3701 Psa 119:73 Thy hands3027 have made6213 me and fashioned3559 me: give me understanding,995 that I may learn3925 thy commandments.4687 Psa 119:74 They that fear3373 thee will be glad8055 when they see7200 me; because3588 I have hoped3176 in thy word.1697 Psa 119:75 I know,3045 O LORD,3068 that3588 thy judgments4941 are right,6664 and that thou in faithfulness530 hast afflicted6031 me. IT IS GOOD FOR ME TO BE PUT TO THE TEST- IT IS GOOD FOR ME TO LEARN THAT MY HOPE IS IN YOU AND YOUR WORD- IN YOUR FAITHFULNESS, KNOWING WHAT WAS BEST FOR ME YOU ALLOWED NECESSARY TRAILS IN MY LIFE- |

I once heard a sermon. Not totally sure it is exactly Biblical, but it is something that helped me through some hard times. It really was just based on the idea, that when we are about to do somethiner truely great for the Lord, that is the time when Satan's attacks are going to be the strongest. So many times, our own trials happen because Satan wants to stop us from being a witness to someone who needs to see Christ in us. It could also be said, that if Satan already owns us, he doesn't need to fight as hard to keep us. Only when we are comming closer to God, does he need to attack us harder. Again, it may or may not be Biblical exactly, but it helps to put an ease to my own heart when I'm struggling.

Banarenth-
Jam 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Submit your whole heart to God then resist the devil and watch him run- kind of like a cockroach when you flip on the kitchen light- LoL- here are a few more scriptures that come to my mind: 1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1Pe 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1Pe 5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Rom 16:19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. Rom 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Be encouraged, be forgiving, be like the Master . |
