I like to call a friend family or brother and sing "I just called to say I love You" when I know they are down- my voice alone is enough to make them crack-up!

I've read that the best way to show your love is to spend time with them. It's not about giving money, gifts, or anything else. Just be with them and that's it. It could even come to a point where all of you are just looking at each other and not talking.

Think of time as something tangible. How you spend it is your decision. It will come to a point where you will lose all of it. Assuming that your time on earth is only 85 years, more or less, it is always good to ask yourself how much of it are you going to spend with your loved ones. Most people don't realize that they are spending most of it working or doing other things. I pity them.

right, coz i think time is one of the most precious thing in evry person, that's why it really is hard to give time to someone, but it aint be difficult to give time if we truly love.

It's important to show love to those we don't know, too. Sometimes, in line at the convenient store or to pay at a restaurant, God will convict me to pay for the person in front or behind me. It's amazing how shocked that person will be. I'm a Grade A cheapskate, but the feeling of obedience is powerful.

One neat thing our church does is print business cards that members carry around. It has information about our church and Christ. They're perfect for drive-thrus. When it's time to pay at McDonald's, we ask to pay for the person behind us with the condition that the employee hand the card to the individual who's meal we just bought. It's especially nice for those who are shy since there's never any direct contact with the other person. Several people have attended our church due to this unexpected blessing.

It's important, though, not to be flashy. As Christ commands us in Matthew, we are to do these things in secret, where the Father can see, but where man will not hear our boasting.

Make personal connections Communicate with them. Get their attention. Let them know someone knows they are alive and cares. Jesus never once healed and run. In fact Jesus' ministry was about making the most important connection of all. A personal connection between God and the individual. The more one cares for another the more of these connections they make. One or two for a stranger five, ten or more to a loved one a day. The simplest and when done right is to say sincerely; "I love You" take the time in a busy day to call and say "Thinking of you" to a wife, mother, daughter, son, father, brother or freind.
For women this comes more natural. Us guys have to work at it (I don't know why We just do)
Communication is always the first step.

Meet a needThere are more ways than there is space on the internet to express them. Anything from a freindly smile to speaking to them about salvation. Buy them a cup of coffee. Offer them something, give them something even if it is nothing more than a moment of curticy and respect. Let them move in front of you in line or just listen to what they have to say. Some times people just need a distraction from the moment or to let off a little steam. Something or some one to take them away from their problems or simply acknowledge their exsistance on this planet. Time and heart are the two things every one has and so often all another needs and so few are willing to give.
A helping hand to someone in need says more about love than Hallmark has ink to print about or paper to print it on. If you can do show a stranger a simple act of love then how much can you do for those whom you know and love??????

Keep the lines open Never shut the door, never cut the tie, don't break the bond. Keep the flow of communication going both ways. Once it's lost it may never be found again. If one loves another they don't want this to happen.

Keep it real!! Don't fake it!! if you don't mean it and you arn't sincere about it then don't say it. Don't start anything you are not willing to finish. Kindness attention, or flattery that expects or demands "Something" in return isn't love.

Love is putting one's heart into it no matter what it is or for whom.

1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
