Deuteronomy 28:11-13

The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.

Abundant prosperity was what God promised the Israelites if they carefully followed God’s commands.
Notice these verses:- “You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.�
-“The Lord will make you the head, not the tail.�
-“You will always be at the top, never at the bottom.�

Poverty can often destroy a person’s spiritual life. God is our Creator and he wants us to be blessed not only spiritually but also physically and materially. Food and water for sustaining our body, a house to live in and clothes to wear are the basic necessities of life and God wants us to have these.

Not only these but he also wants us to succeed in our endeavors. He wants us to be winners. Not only us but our children too. He desires them to excel in every aspect of their lives – in their spiritual lives, in their education and in their work life. You are a child of the King of Kings and He wants you to be successful. Not that there won’t be problems. Is spite of obstacles, hurdles, problems he wants us to be victors.

Remember if there was no race there wouldn’t be a winner. God desires you to be a lender and not a borrower, God desires you to be the head and not the tail and God desires you to be always at the top (Despite problems) and never at the bottom. So hold on to His promises. And never look back.
