Default Lukewarm Christianity

There are tons of churches and churchgoers everywhere, but it is obvious that God's power is not showing in this country. Why do you think that is?

Yes, churches and churchgoers there are many but who's churches are they? The Lord Jesus says that those who are HIS and love HIM will obey HIS commands. {Joh 14:15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. (NKJV)}
With sojourn I say that in these days there are few places that could be called HIS...
I say with lowliness and humility that I am a Salvation Army minister of HIS gospel and have been trained by Him to win souls and disciple them to obey the Lord by His Spirit, which is the grace of God. I have over 80 training sessions recorded in mp3 downloads from the my site that can take a newly saved soul and equip them for the work of the ministry. They are all free and disclose much on this subject.

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:
Luk 17:27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
Luk 17:29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
Luk 17:31 "In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back.
Luk 17:32 Remember Lot's wife.
Luk 17:33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
Luk 17:34 I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. (NKJV)

Looking at the state of the churches, and their antinomianism, it's really no surprise to me. I for one believe that when society strays from the Torah, society suffers from lack of guidance, far more so in the church where it is demonized. Yet Yeshua spoke of such lawlessness.

Quote:
And many false prophets will be raised and will cause many to err. And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.
Matthew 24:11-12
Scripture shows us that the false prophets will be preaching lawlessness, as it will multiply in the end and draw many to destruction. But such false prophets teaching such things will be dealt with, even as they plead to the one they transgressed against.

Quote:
Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those working lawlessness!" [Psa. 6:8]
Matthew 7:21-23
Yet again...
Quote:
The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the offenses, and those who practice lawlessness. And they will throw them into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.
Matthew 13:41-42
Yet moreso...

Quote:
Do not think that I came to annul the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill. Truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, in no way shall one iota or one point pass away from the Law until all comes to pass. Therefore, whoever relaxes one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 5:17-19

The plea is there for any who wish to accept it.

Quote:
Because of this, "come out from among them" "and be separated," says the Lord, "and do not touch the unclean thing," and I will receive you. [Isa. 52:11] "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons" and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty. [2 Sam. 7:8, 14; Isa. 43:6]
2 Corinthians 6:17-18

I, and others like myself, know full well why His power isn't fully manifested here among the "Churches". We see it everyday, in our modern Christian friends.

Shalom

Because the Pastors and the parishoners in these luke warm Churches do not believe what is written in the Bible. That is the bottom line. Most Churches today are filled with people who only think about God on Sunday morning, and never pick up a Bible during the week. In fact most of them don't even bring a Bible to Church and the Pastors don't ask them to read the quoted passages along with him. I will bet that most of these so called Christians can't tell you what the sermon was about this past Sunday. I blame the Pastors for being more worried about the collection plate than the content of the service. The good news Joel Olsteen type of sermon might bring in the numbers but without a heaping helping of fire and brimstone, we tend to become complacement at best.

There are many, many reasons why this corruptions of the churches.

I would like to address one by one:

(l) There are many many pastors who are relying on congregations' offering to them. Without their congregation, they cannot support themseves and their families. Therefore they have to wash down the Bible's teachings to "easy to listen" sermons to keep their congregation to their churches.

There is solution to this but the pastors don't want solution.

If Churches are cold, the next question would be: are they really Christian Churches or just social clubs run by hired men?

The problem is that the churches don't ask questions about their churches. Both congregation and the leaders have silent agreement on this IMHO.
