Ive heard grace described as Gods riches at Christs expense when put like that i for one do not want o take Gods grace in vain so if there is any one that can shar with me how to stay close to God and be who He wants me to be i would gratefull for the counsel i need to stay taechablre and i dont mind being teachable but i will add ive cme out of a controlling manupulating enviorement and im talking about fellowship amomg believers so i find it realy hard to trust even though i know that God tells me if i truly love Him i would trust Him and that i do whole heartdly He is so good ive even had a believer tell me that i was so easy to manipulate so that being said my prayer to God is that He bless every one of His people and keep them safe from all the wiles of the enemy Jesus Christ is Lord He is the Son obless His Holy Name forever God bless you all in Jesus name

Like every relationship, our relationship with God requires work. That doesn't mean that we are saved, or kept by our works - we are dependent upon God's grace every step of the way. But if we want to draw close to Him, we have to make an effort: spend time in the Word (I'm constantly amazed at how many Christians never really read their Bibles), take time for prayer, take time to worship.

Also, remember that God doesn't want it to be just a one-way conversation. He wants to speak to you, as well as having you speak to Him. So take time to listen. Start with a Bible verse, sit down with pen and paper and ask the Holy Spirit what He wants to say to you from that verse. I'm not talking now about simple Bible study - learning what the Bible means. That is important, but the Bible is not just a text book, but God's personal love letter to you. If you approach it in this way, the Holy Spirit might show you a particular application of that verse to your life; or He might highlight some area in which you need to repent; or He might seal it to your heart as a promise. Very importantly, if He shows you something that you need to do, then do it. Otherwise, it will become more difficult to hear from Him in the future.

Bless you dear "wounded." I believe you are on the right path and if you read and re read Pastor Lynn's post apply those principles to your life . You will be amazed at the results. You said you are teachable and that is where God wants to break through in your life. Humility is a wonderful asset. Let the Holy Spirit minister and teach you.

If you hunger and thirst after the things of God you will be filled. We live in a world system that is contrary to God's but He has told us we are in the world but not of the world if we are a child of the King. Now we must put off the old nature.... the flesh... inherited from Adam and put on our garment of praise and follow Christ and Him alone.

Jesus has over come the world , the flesh and the devil so that we too can be overcomers because He has fought our battle for us and He is victorious.

So be an overcomer because the battle has been won.

God sees all He knows my heart im going through hell Jesus is LOrd and i aint ashameed of the gospel even if it costs my life the lord Jesus Christ rebuke the devil i love God and only want to serve Him Paul encouraged us to love God first and then the believers and the lost they will only see Jesus in those who truly love Him and display His love where is the love of God these days im not the only one asking this thats why i keep Him before me at all times because God is love

Thanks Lynn realy appreciate your word of encouragement its hard being isolated alone and facing things without much encouragement i do have friends but its seems like a great struggle at the moment and my heart goes ot to my hurting brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus truly is Lord i do believe in His wonderful precious Name God bless if God be for us who can be against us Bless His Holy Name

My dear " wounded " . We are all on the same page walking through our life's journey and that is what we are all here for to encourage and be of help and pray for each other . Remember .... we are the Body of Christ and when one member is hurting we all are and when one is rejoicing we all are so what ever we are going through we know that we have Christ first and all of our Christian friends second. It does not matter our culture, walk of life , country, background denonination or lack of we all have a common ground and a oneness in Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord and we are here to magnify and lift His name higher.
