In my country, people consume thousands of tons of maize every year.

Nobody has died from it yet!

As long as there is POP CORN, I will still eat corn, mmmmmm!

Especially with lots of salt and butter, mmmmmmmm!

Well I must say I look forward to fresh corn on the cob and it is now coming into the store but most of all I have a corn truck, near me , that sells it fresh every day straight from the farm..... Going to get some for tonight ...yum. with butter salt and pepper.

Who am I

I remember when I was a kid, I’d be at my friends farm and we would go out into the field and pick the corn, load it into the back of a pickup truck. My friends dad would drive it down to the highway and we would sit there and sell it to whoever stopped for 25 cents a dozen, if I remember correctly. We were told to make sure they take a bakers dozen too, just incase they get a bad ear of corn.
That was the best corn, fresh out of the field and on the dinner table.

Boy, I feel old now. That was over 35 years ago.
I better take my Geritol and go to bed.

He he ..... Believe me Dean .... Geritol doesn't help .... If it did I would drink the whole bottle .... Ha ha . I guess wer're so old that" Mellow" doesn't know what geritol is.

Anyways just to tell you I got my corn yesterday form one of those farm trucks and had to pay $6.00 for the dozen ... How times have changed .... wow .25 cents for a dozen that was way back when ...????

But the corn was sweet and real tasty ..... I ate two cobs , with butter of course..... first of the season plus nice Ontario peaches with ice cream .... yum..

Who am I

They had commercials for Geritol all the time when I was a kid.
Don’t remember exactly what it is, but it was for old people.
Maybe this will help explain it.
